Dear Customers,
We've noticed some inquiries recently about the phenomenon of USPS labels showing older tracking numbers. We want to assure you that this is completely normal, secure, and is a known quirk in the USPS system.
USPS recycles tracking numbers, and sometimes a previously used tracking number might get reassigned to your new label. This can occasionally cause the display of prior tracking information unrelated to your package. While it may seem confusing, it is a standard practice and does not impact the safety or the delivery of your parcel.
In normal circumstances, when USPS scans your new label, any old tracking data linked to that number should be replaced with your package's information. However, a delay in this update might sometimes occur. This doesn't affect your parcel's journey, and it's simply a delay in the data updating process in USPS's system.
We've been made aware that this is a bug in the USPS system, and USPS is working hard to fix it. We expect it to be resolved soon, making the tracking process smoother for everyone.
In the meantime, if you have any questions or need clarity, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We're always here to assist you.
